Pakej Sumbangan Endowmen
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has established the Tabung Endowmen UTM to support education, research, facility development, and provide assistance to students, staff, and the community in need. To honor contributions, UTM allows donors to name specific spaces, buildings, or facilities based on the donation amount and duration.
The naming opportunities are categorized into the following tiers:
- TITANIUM (Minimum RM 10,000,000): For contributions of RM 10 million (non-faculty) to RM 30 million (faculty), donors can name major facilities, including central lecture halls, residential buildings (e.g., Kolej 9 & 10), and major sporting facilities like swimming pools.
- PLATINUM (Minimum RM 5,000,000): Enables naming of administrative buildings, laboratories, research institutes, and key campus landmarks like the UTM Dataran or various academic buildings.
- EMAS (Minimum RM 3,000,000): Includes options for naming administrative buildings, sports excellence centers, various business arcades, and research facilities.
- SILVER (Minimum RM 1,000,000): Allows naming of sports and recreational buildings, centers of excellence, dialysis centers, and residential college buildings.
- GANGSA (Minimum RM 500,000): Opportunities include naming small residential colleges, fellow buildings, lecture halls, laboratories, and specific recreational facilities.
- TEMBAGA (RM 30,000 – RM 500,000): Provides for the naming of public spaces such as benches, discussion rooms, bus stops, and various herbal or bamboo forest areas.
BENEFIT:
Contributors are eligible for income tax exemption under subsection 44(6) of Tax Ordinance 1967
